This Lovely Day

I'm beyond excited to show you guys the photos from our wedding day! They turned out so wonderfully and the credit goes 100% to the lovely Abbey Daniel from MTAS Photography! Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. All of the handmade elements worked so well together and we had such an awesome team of friends and family who helped us make it happen.

Favorite part of the day?
Pamela: It would definitely be getting to hang out with Micah (the groom) and my entire bridal party the entire day leading up to the ceremony. We were not traditional in the way we did things in the least bit and one way was seeing the groom before "time". Most people say "you miss the magical moment of him seeing you for the first time when you walk down the isle!!" but it was still JUST as magical getting to spend our day together.

What songs were played in your ceremony?
Bridal party walked out to: "Towers" by Bon Iver
Bride walked out to: "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Ingrid Michelson
Sand Ceremony song: "To Whom It May Concern" by The Civil Wars
Exit song: "You Make My Dreams Come True" by Hall & Oats
First dance song: "Hold You In My Arms"by Ray LaMontagne

How did you manage to stay under $2,500 on your wedding?!
Micah and I sat down before any planning started and listed out the top things we had to have in our wedding and set a realistic budget. and anything extra would have to be either handmade or borrowed. For example: Micah was willing to spend the most on the photography (typical photographer move) and I was willing to spend the most on the decor. So we budgeted with that in mind, scavenged for good deals on stuff, and anything extra would have to be either handmade or borrowed. When you create a budget and stick to it, you can easily create a beautiful wedding for a price within your budget. Something creative that we did and saved us a ton of money was a pot-luck dessert reception. In the invites we told each guest to bring their favorite dessert and it created the reception food and costs us hardly anything! Pinterest and friends who have their old wedding decor stashed in storage will be your best friends :)

Thanks to the following for making us and our day look awesome:
Dress: Ruche, Button Up: American Eagle, Pants: H&M
Flower Crown & Boutonnière: Three Little Birds, Cupcakes: Liz Crazy Cakes, Ring: H&M
